Iasa Ireland and its partner Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet hosted Iasa Architect Core course last month in Dublin, which earned plenty of praise from the attendees.
The 5-day event attracted more than a dozen students from a cross section of industries, including Financial Services, Food Wholesale, SAAS Technology, Infrastructure Technology, and Transport/Mobility. The students participated in 16 Lessons and 20 exercises.
Among the three guest leaders and their topics were:
- Petra in ‘t Veld-Brown (Consultant Business Architect) – Business Architecture In The Field
- Dennis Mulder (CEO WVE) – Importance of the role of Architects and certification
- Pat Mannion (Canada Life Europe (CLE) CIO) – Trends/Challenges and needs of Architects to support that change
Attendees universally appreciated the course, lavishing praise on the experience.
“The Iasa Architect Core course gives professionals a holistic journey through an overall approach and key considerations to ensure architecture deliverables and outcomes are setup for success,” said Ger O’Flynn, of Musgraves
Canada Life Europe’s Niall Clancy was equally complimentary.
“The Iasa Architecture Core training course was a great in person experience with a good balance of instructor led content, classroom discussion and practical learning,” said Clancy. “Would highly recommend to any aspiring to practicing architects. It’s not just foundational – Its CORE.
Finally, Matthew Downing, of Kainos, said the CITA-F in-person course “was a great opportunity to understand the depth and breadth of architecture, the supportive tools, the journey to achieve great outcomes, and how to describe the value propositions to all stakeholder levels. This was an incredibly empowering experience.”
