Self-described as an “explorer by nature, and true tech passionate by heart,” Singh’s interview follows below:
Question: How did you get your start in the industry?
Answer: I started as backend developer in industry. I got my first job in IT industry, right after my bachelors in computer science
Q: What is your current responsibility and what is your typical day like?
A: I have dual responsibilities at my current position. For first part, I am responsible for strategic technical/digital roadmap for company, to meet business objectives and digital transformation. I am leading a group of 7 senior enterprise architects. In second part, I am responsible for delivering enterprise common platforms (IoT, Data/AI, integration, identity and access management) for products teams to provide platform enablers, so that teams can focus on service development. In this part, I have team of 30 persons.
Typical day for me is to have meetings with business and management stakeholders, design discussions with product teams and solution architects, chairman for governance councils.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: “The Impact” I can create for business via tech as strong enabler.
Q: What trends in architecture are you looking out for the rest of 2023 and 2024?
A: Decentralized IT development with centralized platform , automation via openAI,ML and deep learning, data democratization and governance.
Q: What is one thing we can do to support or increase the women in architecture?
A: Promoting WIA and increase awareness, via multiple channels (linkedin, internal company intranet via members, speaker virtual events).
