Candid Thoughts
First, let me give some background on who I am and why did I listen to this podcast. My name is David DiNanno and I reside in Tennessee. I worked for small and large companies in different IT positions. Only experience with EA has been on the implementation and customer service side of the equation as an IT manager. Recently, I returned to school to complete a Bachelor of Science in IT degree for personal and career reasons. I am in an EA class at present and this podcast was one of our study assignments for this week's discussions about defining operating models in EA. Our instructor and the school curriculum has us learning direct and indirect aspects of EA each week to develop a more rounded knowledge of subject matter being discussed.
I am not an expert of Enterprise Architecture or Strategic Planning knowledge, theories, or application. This podcast taught me some about the role established EA structures posess to react to change in economic and global events. Overall, just wanted to share my appreciation for this web site and the podcasts available for us all to learn more about the importance of future planning in business and government roles in the financial marketplace using enterprise architecture, ERP, and stragic planning. I do plan to continue to use this web site for knowledge gain.
Sincerely, David D.
